RETURN POLICIES

CUSTOM ENGRAVED PARTS: All custom engraved parts (plates, saddles, dies, etc.) are not refundable, unless these parts are damaged in transit or defective (not meeting manufacturer's specifications). Defective items can be returned for full replacement, refund, or store credit. All returned items are subject to inspection by our staff. Items damaged in transit by shipping carrier are subject to the insurance and replacement terms of that carrier. On any returns, shipping costs are NOT covered by PROTECTEDimages.com.

EQUIPMENT: Equipment must be in same condition as shipped. Original equipment manufacturer and PROTECTEDimages.com equipment warranties apply respectively. All warrantied equipment MUST be returned within 90 days of purchase to qualify for a refund, no charge repair, replacement, or store credit. Machines damaged in transit are subject to the insurance and replacement terms of that carrier. Equipment returned undamaged and NOT in need of repair is subject to a 20% restocking fee.

REPLACEMENT INK ROLLERS AND RIBBONS: Returned ink ribbons and rollers must be unused and unopened. Accessories incorrectly ordered are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

The company can perform repairs and service work on a wide range of equipment from Paymaster, Hedman, Burroughs, Formax, Standard Register, Hall-Welter, Widmer, as well as most all other check signer, protector, certifier and endorsing equipment. Our service area extends throughout the northeast.

Additionally, by making use of our check protection equipment dealership network numbering over five hundred clients, we can locate someone in your general area that can repair your equipment, or provide on-going preventative maintenance. For our national accounts, we have also set up numerous depot locations across the country that can provide quick service and loaner equipment while your machine is undergoing repairs.

WARRANTIES

ITEMS DAMAGED IN DELIVERY: If you notice that a machine may have been damaged in transit - #1 Call us concerning the problem; #2 Inform your delivery person as to the problem.

NEW EQUIPMENT: All new equipment is covered by a full manufacturer's guarantee. The duration of this coverage depends on the specific manufacturer and model number of the machine purchased. Copies of manufacturer's warranties are available upon request.

RECONDITIONED EQUIPMENT: Any preowned equipment that is resold by PROTECTEDimages.com as "Like New" or "Fully Reconditioned" comes with a 90-day warranty stating "This equipment is being delivered in good working condition. If this machine is delivered damaged, or should any defect appear over the next 90-day period other than due to ordinary wear and tear, PROTECTEDimages.com will repair or replace the machine, WITHOUT CHARGE, if it is delivered to our service center, transportation paid".

EXTENDED WARRANTY: With Protected Images' 2-Year Extended Warranty, the covered equipment will be repaired or replaced at no cost if delivered to our service center, transportation paid. Plus, your service call will be responded to within 12 hours & a free loaner will be shipped (when needed) within 24 hours.

NOTE: Due to differences in the wiring requirements and increased possibilities of voltage spiking, ALL new and reconditioned equipment warranties are invalid outside North America.
