Return Policies

Custom Engraved Parts: The pricing on all custom engraved parts (plates, saddles, dies, etc.) is not refundable, unless these parts are damaged in transit or defective (not meeting manufacturer's specifications). Defective items can be returned for full replacement, refund, or store credit. All returned items are subject to inspection by our staff. Items damaged in transit by shipping carrier are subject to the insurance and replacement terms of that carrier. On any returns, shipping costs are NOT covered by

Equipment: Returned machines must be sent in same condition as when shipped. Original equipment manufacturer and equipment warranties apply respectively. All warrantied equipment MUST be returned within 90 days of purchase to qualify for a refund, no charge repair, replacement, or store credit. Machines damaged in transit are subject to the insurance and replacement terms of that carrier. Equipment returned undamaged and NOT in need of repair is subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Replacement Ink Rollers & Ribbons: Returned ink ribbons and rollers must be unused and unopened. Accessories incorrectly ordered are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Additionally, by making use of our check protection equipment dealership network numbering over five hundred clients, we can locate someone in your general area that can repair your equipment, or provide on-going preventative maintenance. For our national accounts, we have also set up numerous depot locations across the country that can provide quick service and loaner equipment while your machine is undergoing repairs.

Items Damaged in Delivery: If you notice that a machine may have been damaged in transit - Call us concerning the problem and also inform your delivery person as to the problem.

New Equipment: All new equipment is covered by a full manufacturer's guarantee. The duration of this coverage depends on the specific manufacturer. Copies of any equipment warranties are available upon request.

Reconditioned Equipment: Any pre-owned equipment that is resold by as "Like New" or "Fully Reconditioned" comes with a 90-day warranty stating "This equipment is being delivered in good working condition. If this machine is delivered damaged, or should any defect appear over the next 90-day period other than due to ordinary wear and tear, will repair or replace the machine, WITHOUT CHARGE, if it is delivered to our service center, transportation paid".

Extended Warranty: With PROTECTEDimages' 2-Year Extended Warranty (only valid within the USA), the covered equipment will be repaired or replaced 'at no cost' if delivered to our service center, transportation paid. Plus, your service call will be responded to within 12 hours and a free loaner will be shipped (if available) within 24 hours.

Note: Due to differences in the wiring requirements and increased possibilities of voltage spiking, ALL new and reconditioned equipment warranties are invalid for any machines sold outside of North America.
